Beyond internal challenges, transferring product data between PLM and ERP was another manual and error-prone process.
“Moving a collection from Delogue to Business Central had to be done manually. We had to extract data, and upload it in our ERP system. And at that time we had only one person in the whole company who could do it, which made it a very vulnerable process", Lauritz Olsen, IT Manager at Kingsland Equestrian says.
With the full integration between Delogue PLM and TRIMIT, this has completely changed. Kingsland now has a single source of truth for product data, ensuring that once a style is finalized in PLM, it automatically updates in ERP without manual work.
"The main topic is probably having a single source of truth so that we know that truth is always Delogue, where the styles and the products are being developed" Lauritz shared.Once a style is ready to be sent to Business Central through our TRIMIT solution, the style gets published, transferred, and then we know that if changes are made to the style, it's in one place, Delogue. And any updates will synchronize with Business Central.
